Welcome to your sanctuary.

Your middle years are filled with endless possibilities for growth and self-realization, even during menopause, and together, we can work towards embracing your transformation, not just get you through it. I provide a safe and affirming space for all.

Are you suffering from symptoms like overwhelm, unmanageable emotions, brain fog, sleep disturbances, anxiety, and all the things that can manifest during life’s transitions?

I provide a safe space for you to work through and manage those symptoms and heal, evolve, and reignite the aspects of yourself that may have been buried under layers of societal expectations. It's never too late to rediscover your passions, realign with your true goals, and embark on a journey of self-discovery.

In our sessions, we work from where you are in your journey so that you feel heard and understood – all to create room for you to evolve.

I provide recommendations, mindfully, and also work closely with several practitioners who are well-versed in the medical needs of women in the middle years to relieve the physical symptoms that like to show up during this phase of life.

My practice is focused on providing a safe space for all and an LGBTQIA+ affirming support for your journey.

LET’S WORK TOGETHER

Fees, Policies, & Insurance

Sessions are available online or in my Leesburg office, available to those residing in Virginia. I will work with a sliding scale, cash, and credit card.

Fees

Free Consultation

  • This 15-minute phone call is a chance for me to hear your hopes and desires for treatment, and begin the process of creating a goal-centered approach for you.

Individual Sessions

  • $200 per individual session (45 minutes)

    • Please note that once a year, rates are typically raised by $10

Group or Family Sessions

  • $275 per session (50 minutes)

    • Please note that once a year, rates are typically raised by $20

Insurance

I do not take insurance, however I participate in out-of-network insurance programs, which typically cover 50% to 100% of my fee. To see what your insurance company covers, you can ask them the following questions:

  • Do I have out-of-network mental/behavioral health benefits?

  • Do I have an out-of-network deductible? If so, how much, and has it been met yet by other medical expenses?

  • What amount is covered per psychotherapy session?

Please contact me to inquire about your insurance needs before our first session.

Policies

In general, the law protects the confidentiality of all communications between a psychotherapist and a client. No information is disclosed without prior written consent from the client. This is done by signing a HIPPA form. However, there are some exceptions required by law to this rule. I am required by law to report to the authorities the following circumstances:

1) If I suspect that an individual may be involved in child abuse or dependent adult or elder abuse.

2) If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person.

3) If a client intends to harm himself or herself. The therapist will make every effort to work with the individual to ensure their safety. However, if an individual does not cooperate, additional measures may need to be taken.

Cancellation

If you cancel less than 24 hours before our session you will be charged the full fee for that session.

Lateness

The therapist is not obligated to make up time due to a client’s lateness. More than 15 minute lateness constitutes a late cancellation and the therapist is not obligated to conduct the session.

My Absence

If I am severely ill or have a life-or-death event, I will inform you that I will be absent.

I inform patients of my vacation or conference schedule at least a week in advance.

If I am unable to give a week’s notice of events which will keep me out of the office I will give 48 hours.
